It is unlikely that such things would close doors off as long as you are able to deliver work of sufficient quality by the deadlines provided. Your portfolio will determine the latter, and your work ethic will determine the former. The type of work you did in the past doesn’t matter all that much - plenty of industry artists do work in NSFW content on their own time. The most important aspects of being an industry artist at the AAA level are being able to match the style guide set by the art director and delivering your work on time.
